Mr. Kingston, you gave me the following instructions: I was to go to the beginning of the link to be copied, then press F8; then I reached the end of the link, I was to press F8 again, and a menu for copying it would appear. Well, nothing happens. If browse mode is off, at least in Thunderbird, there is no speech; if I press space after pressing the second F8, WE says "Not a valid key press." I'm guessing that there is some setting that needs to be changed. I hope that my explanation is clear.
