You can go directly to the temp folder by opening the Run dialog with
Windows-R, type %Temp%, and press Enter.
Note the percent signs enclosing the word temp.

when you use the check for upgrades from the w e control panel/help pull
down download the w e upgrades they are downloaded on to your computer
in the temp folder.
c:\users\your account name\appdata\local\temp folder.
the file this time is called we951upgrade-normal.exe if you want to
search for it.
so when w e starts the upgrade the file has already been downloaded to
the above location. you could stop the installation so you can install
it later if you want.
before i run the upgrade i copy the file to a new location so i will
have it incase i have to re install it.
i am sure this is the same file you will get if you go directly to the
web page and download it from there. but in this case you have to log in
before the file can be downloaded.
