Hi Chris

I hope it shows up for you soon. Re this whole thing of uninstalling the window-eyes display driver, is it an easy process? Believe me i am not looking forward to a complicated process if all i want to do is upgrade to the latest windows. Clearly Microsoft did not test for accessibility, if many screenreaders are having this issue.

The way I see it is my pc works fine now just as it should, and if i have to jump through all kinds of hoops to get an update, I think i'll wait til such time as the update process can be more robust. We should not have to modify or uninstall our adaptive software to install a major Windows update. Microsoft really needs to get on the ball about this so that people don't have to be geeks. it should just work.

My tablet was running Novembers Windows 10.

one i have now is the best driver. version 9.17.1334
the gigabyte site is not very accessible. its better then it was. it

Subject: having trouble upgrading to Windows 10 anniversary

             Hey folks

I wanted to install the Windows 10 anniversary upgrade on my own time
instead of having Windows install it for me in the middle of the night.
i'm one of these old fashioned types that likes to control stuff on my
pc, so i figured, why not get it now? So I downloaded the Windows 10
upgrade assistant from the Microsoft website, and at first it seemed to
run ok. Then I hit the upgrade now button because it said I was running
an earlier version of Windows 10. So after hitting the upgrade now
button I was informed that I wasn't able to install the Windows 10
anniversary upgrade because of my display? Has anyone else seen this
happen? I asked about it on twitter, but everyone seems to be running
that other screenreader, good old sharky, and just assumed I was doing
so. The upgrade assistant said everything was fine, accept for my
display like i was saying. I should explain that i'm running this on a
standard windows 10 desktop, this baby is barely 3 months old.

I'm guessing there has to be an issue with the display driver, but i'm
not sure. Can someone clear this up for me? People suggested
uninstalling the display driver, but I'm very hesitant to do that for
many reasons I probably don't have to explain here. So, any help is
definitely appreciated! you would think this stuff would just work, but
leave it up to good old Microsoft to make it a little more fun.

Thanks guys.

Chris, who just wants technology to work.
