First you have to set adobe reader (acrobat reader as your default program to use to read PDF files. Well, actually, first, you have to make sure that you are not using edge in any way at this time but internet explorer or fire fox or chrome. Then you make sure that you have adobe to use for the purpose of reading PDF files. Then when adobe is running, if accessibility does not come up immediately, press alt e for edit menu and arrow down to accessibility and arrow to the right or enter and choose by arrowing set up reading accessibility assistant or change reading accessibility. If you use the assistant, it will take you through the steps such as setting reading options such as infer reading order, read top to bottom left to right... Read the entire document or other options and more. Once you have the accessibility set up, you can tab to start and the document will be made accessible if it is possible. If it does not read correctly the first time, go back to the edit menu and change accessibility and change hos the document is to be read and enter on start (this usually works. If you have a PDF file that will not read because it is perceived as a picture and you have Open Book or Kurtzweil you can print the document using the printer from their programs and instead of printing the document, the program will do OCR on the image and turn it into a readable document.

If you need any more information, let me know. I hope this helped.

Hi, how do I read PDF files that I receive as attachments in my emails? I'm
using windows 10 and the latest version of window eyes. I have attempted to use

brain is mush do I really have to use Microsoft edge?
