Exactly right, Chris. NVDA is certainly a wonderful alternative to Window-eyes and JAWS. However, the problem for me is trying to get NVDA into institutions here in Canada. Institutions are paranoid about OpenSorce solutions, at least here in Canada. However, The Samfransisco Lighthouse for the blind does have NVDA on their Enchanted hills camp tech lab computers and they were the organisations who donated to Dictation bridge. In fact, the samfransisco Lighthouse for the blind were the keynote speaker for their NVDA 2016 US conference that took place in September.
