Make sure the person has actually ran one of the following, word, excel powerpoint and not just installed office. 2. make sure the person is using Microsoft speech platform, or eSpeak as the voice. If they chose eloquence, vocalizer expressive or another premium synthesizer without paying for them, this will turn it into a demo.
3. repair Microsoft office from programs and features. Use the online repair not the quick one. One of the above should fix the problem.
