Hi, Use the up and down arrow and right and left arrow keys just to the
right of right ctrl key. These are the arrow keys to read documents. Down
arrow reads next line, up arrow reads previous line, right arrow reads next
letter, left arrow reads previous letter, ctrl + right arrow reads next
word, and ctrl + left arrow reads previous word.

I appreciate your trying to assist me. I am using the key pad right next to
the keyboard. I have windows 10 and am using Microsoft word 2016. This
computer is just about t o turn a year old. I’m trying to figure out if
this is a window eyes glitch or if my documents are corrupt. A sighted man
looked at this, and for him, it will read the documents with the mouse, but
not with the arrow keys. Dummy me forgot that Window-eyes would not assist
me with their free window-eyes. I guess it is time to become legit.
