One person in this thread asked where the beta team was - still waiting
to hear any kind of reply. - don't think there is a beta team though.
One idea about VFO staff not being able to anser - keep asking until you
connect with the right person. Hopefully someone will have a
conversation with VFO at the NFB or ACB conventions.
One can only keeptrack of so many lists - so - is there talk of the
future of Window-eyes on any other lists?
It is really sad that we are being kept in the dark. I am learning
other screen readers, but I still would like to know what is/is not
going on.

No one on this list is capable of speaking for VFO who now owns WE. We
don't
know for sure the status of WE in the plans by VFO.
The best bet is for you to call them, get someone high up in the
organization and try to get an answer to yur questions.
Or even better: I find that I have good luck getting answers when I write
directly to the CEO of a company.
I always certify the letter. Certifying is like registering except they
don't keep the letter in the safe over night, and of course it is less
expensive.
By certifying a letter, I find that it usually reaches the CEO, or at
least
reaches someone very close to him/her.

That's not really the issue right now. The SMA is the issue though and I
need some answers before I press them for that one.
What is the status of Window-Eyes? If it were to go away, what is the
plan
for those of us who use it? Is it even worth getting an SMA right now?
