Hi: George wants to completely silence speech. There is an undefined WE hotkey for this, which I directed him to (pardon the dangling participle).
Also, the way WE seems to work on my system, it intercepts keystrokes before the Intel display driver. There were older versions of WE that didn’t intercept keystrokes first, but, they fixed this a while back. However, there have been times when something didn’t work correctly, so disabling these hotkeys in the Intel graphics options can still be a good idea. After all, how many of us blinks need or want to flip the screen. Good to disconcert a few sightlings, perhaps.
