Hi Neville, Try pressing Windows-M twice.

Upon exiting a programme like Thunderbird with alt F4, where Window-Eyes gave focus to the Desktop with speech, Jaws does not. Well, on my system anyway. The only way I can give focus to the Desktop and have speech is to to press Windows d after exiting the programme. Pressing Windows m or Windows d does give focus to the Desktop with speech but the programme has only been minimized and not closed. By just using alt F4, can anyone exit a programme or drive, give focus to the Desktop with Jaws talking. Thanks Neville.
