Hi Jeff,

If you find your Windows user profile folder, you can simply highlight each of
the folders you want desktop shortcuts for, press the Applcations key, press N
for Send to, and then press D for desktop and then press Enter (since there's
probably more than one item starting with D on the Send to menu).

Hth,

Rod

Subject: windows 7 help needed

In order to install jaws 18, I have had to create a new profile.
Now, for some reason, on both the new and original profile, the start menu does
not work as before.
I am unable to arrow up and down through the start menu items—they are there as
links that I have to click on with the mouse.

Also, on the new profile, how do I make the profile folder with downloads,
music, etc. appear on the desktop? I don’t want a short-cut, but I want the
first thing on the desktop to be my profile name where I can press enter and
find all those folders like it is on the original profile.
Any help appreciated.
Jeff Weiss
