Yep, that’s exactly what they did. Even if you just press Enter on Window-Eyes from the desktop or start menu, Window-Eyes will reload. Great when you want to run Window-Eyes as an administrator—you have speech through the whole process.

Window-eyes used to say window-eyes is already running when you hit the control-alt-w, but now it restarts window-eyes instead. The hot key still must be defined somewhere, and when window-eyes is first installed, it is automatically defined on the desk top. As a side note, when things get messed up, sometimes the control-alt-w key, for me, will not work when window-eyes is running. It has worked most of the time for me. So, maybe you have to reinstall it. Or, is it an ap? I know somebody said all their aps were suddenly gone. I believe the layout has changed as now I only have to arrow down one but I'm not sure what the layout would be like on your computer.
