You have to go to the echo app page and enable the mlb skill, requres log in info as I recall. Once done, just say "alexa m l b" and she will say "welcome to m l b" "what game do you want to listen to", or something like that. I think tomorrow you would just say "the all star game"

Yep, you have the dot, the jack is line out, I have it plugged into my amplifier. I actually have 3 of the things, an echo, my first purchase, then the dot, so I could get lline out, and then the tab so I'd have a portable one. grrrrrr. You can also ask at any time "did the royals win today" and she'll say something like "they lost lastnight, bla bla bla" "they will play today at such and such.

Hi Butch,

Thanks for all the added info. I am a Game-Day-Audio subscriber, and we
have the Echo. It's the shorter version, about 1.5 inches high. There is a
mini jack port by the power cord. I assume that this is an output jack.

Do you know where I can find tomorrow night's All-Star game on radio?

If not through MLB on the computer, how do I get it through the Echo?

Thanks for any help.

no, read my previous notes. I have to be signed up with them but now
besides the computer, I can get it on my echo if I wish.
They also offer serius xm radio, but again you must have an account. I
get pandora and i heart free, but had to create an account with them on
the computer.

I don't pay amazon any extra, but I'm a prime member, so I really don't
know if that is required, I don't think so. I do have to pay for mlb
which I've done for years. I gather this thing now works on tablets,
but all I have is the amazon echo. They make an echo dot, an echo tap
and an echo. The echo costs the most and has the best sound. It is
about the size of a pringles can. The tap is similar but has blule
tooth and is battery operated. The dot is least expensive and much
smaller, not nearly as good of a sound but has line out so you can plug
that into a computer or amplifier. It works through w i f i. I didn't
need sighted assistance, but their page doesn't talk the best and is a
little ttricky. It is a lot like seri, in some ways better, and in some

Butch, please excuse my ignorance. Is the echo a stand alone device, or
do you need a phone or tablet to use it? Did you need sighted assistance
to set it up, or is it something a blind person can set up and use out
of the box without assistance? Once you buy the hardware, do you pay
amizon a monthly subscription fee? Thanks for your help.
