I assume that's the book from NLS BARD. It came out in the early days of
Windows 10. It should be useful, but a number of things have changed since
it was written. There is a Windows 10 tutorial by a British author that is
oriented to blind users and would probably answer a lot of your questions,
too. I don't have the URL here, though.

Thanks. I did figure it out. It only said "d" when I pressed winkey+d,
so I thought it was not allowing me to go to the desktop. Anyway,

Actually, it doesn't block everything unless it is the only thing open,
