Peter,
:I've always done the same, just with Alt-D to go to the address bar and then F6 to return to the page, and it works fine. I can't read the text immediately with the arrows because it's all selected by default. So I just press Control-C to copy it, which is the only reason I'm going there anyway. But if I arrow back and forth a bit it will start reading after IE catches up and deselects the URL.
For what it's worth, this is on Windows 10.
Hth,
Tom

Hello all,

I hope someone can help me with a strange problem I have when on the internet. I am using Window-Eyes on a Windows8.1 machine and I normally use IE to get to web pages. I used to be able to get the url of the page I am on by pressing F6 when I can read the url with my arrow keys and copy it to my clipboard. About a month ago, this suddenly changed. Now when I press F6 I can no longer read the url with my arrow keys to copy it to my clipboard, though I can read it with  my mouse when I route mouse to cursor.  How can I regain this capability?

I hope what I have described makes sense and I hope someone can help me out.

Thanks in advance.
