Thanks, Olusegun.
Glad to help. Good luck with your move to Android. Although I must say,
screen reader hassles aside, Microsoft is a very different company today
with its current CEO. They've done more for accessibility in recent
years than in all the time Bill Gates was at the helm.
If you haven't tried NVDA the last update gave it a major boost in
responsiveness. So it's no longer sluggish compared to Window-Eyes.
Window-Eyes is still my main screen reader. But I do fire up NVDA once
in a while to try to get into the swing of it for when the dreaded
doomsday comes because it will have to be a matter of life and death
before I fight with the shark. And Narrator is also on a fast track to
becoming a pretty good screen reader.
I don't mean to sermonize or sell you on anything. But in my case I just
have no choice other than Windows for what I do.
Regards,
Tom

Hi Tom:
You're making me look too much like a guru whereas I'm still learning to
count my fingers correctly; What're you doing that for, brother?
Ok, sarcasm aside, thanks a ton for this one. I just learned something I
never thought was possible. Though I still run Word2007, it will come in
handy if I ever figure ot a way to upgrade; I'd rather run Word on my Shiny
Android toys ';cause I am trying hardest to ditch Windows forever.
I'm honored to be ruffling feathers with gurus like you who help make a
nonconformist child like me far better than I deserve. To your wife if
married, or to your mum and or sisters, Happy Mother's Day! Happy Mother's
Day to all the great women, young or old on this wonderful list.
Sincerely,
