https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/13853/windows-lifecycle-fact-sheet I do believe that some of their dates have changed and so it looks as though Windows 8.1 Is going out of date this year, at least as far as comsumer desktop support goes. See the page for details. I have installed Windows 7 in a virtual machine in order to avoid losing it. This will allow me to use it pretty much for years to come, although I wouldn't be using it on the web down the road, for security reasons. We can all continue to help each other. It looks as though App Central has gone off-line for good, and it's probably only a matter of time before this list goes as well. Most of us have subscribed to Dennis Long's list to be able to remain in touch with each other.
