if you are useing w e 9x you don't have to unload w e before you open the
context menu.
just open a context menu on the w e icon and click on run as administrator.
w e will unload automatically and reload as administrator.

The Application key is left of the right control key. It's just a replacement
for Shift-F10, which works everywhere on my system.
Either should open a context menu. Properties is the item you want. It should
be the last item in the list. So if the menu opens, try just arrowing up once.

Okay, Bob. Here's how to run Window-Eyes as an administrator.
Go to the Window-Eyes shortcut on your desktop.
Press the Applications key or Shift+F10 to open the context menu.
Press the letter R for properties.
Tab down to the Advanced button and press it.
check the check box to run it as an administrator.
Press the OK button to close it.
Now close Window-Eyes and then re-open it with Control+Alt+W.
change the startup settings and save your settings.
Now, go back into the desktop shortcut and uncheck run as administrator.
Shut down Window-Eyes again and reload it.

As for loading at startup? Here's the procedure, just to make sure
you're covering all the bases.
Go to General, Startup Options.
Tab once and you should hear Run Window-Eyes at the Login Screen.
Run Window-Eyes after login for all users.
Tab again to the Set Options button and press the space bar.
Shift+Tab up and uncheck both check boxes. Then back to the OK
button and press space bar.
Tab once to the After logging in, run Window-Eyes using the global
startup options radio button and make sure it's selected.
Alternatively you can change it to never run Window-Eyes. But this
is just the after logging in option. You want to make sure it's
not running at the login screen. Changing both in the global
options takes care of this.
Tab to the save button and press it, or press Control+S to save
your settings.
