Hello all,

I usually handle this by going to the property of the file by pressing alt+enter, tabbing to the Unblocking field which is after the "Advanced" field and pressing space. Then I shift tab to apply and press space, then to ok and press enter. After that the file can be opened and edited. However, just to be safe, after opening the file, I press control+s to save the file before doing anything else.

Hope that helps.

Subject: Read Only

Hi,

It seems my MS Word documents have been made into read only. Can someone
tell me how to change this so I can read the document? I am using Windows
10 with WE 9.54 and MS Office 2013.

Thanks much!

Be blessed!

Deborah
