Hey OSM folks- Thought you'd be into this. We just released LocalWiki, an open-source, open-content, distributed project to collect the world's local knowledge. Check it out:
http://localwiki.org There's a prominent geographic component -- every page can have a map, maps can be easily edited, are versioned, can be diffed (!), etc. The actual map editing and display interface is intentionally simplistic - no feature tags, types, etc :) We're not trying to replicate OSM, but rather allow simple geographic relationships to be noted. We'll play with more rich mapping as time progresses. Anyway, let me know what you think!
