I just want to re-stress the "contact" part of this thread since most
people are talking about the "remapping" part. I have managed to get
Kansas pretty much completely cleaned already. I did some remapping
along interstates due to an explicit decliner (moonwashed) but
otherwise I haven't had to do all that much. Well other than spending
a couple hours finding people on facebook, twitter, flickr, etc.

Just yesterday I managed to track down a phone number for the biggest
remaining non-decider in Kansas. I gave him a call, had a pleasant
conversation and then he logged in and agreed a few minutes after we
hung up. There are a few non-googleable user names left that I won't
be able to do much with but fortunately their contributions are
relatively small. I'm still sad to see it go but at least it isn't
going to completely break the road network.

On a less rosy note, I sent a message to user JaapK (changes in
Chicago and the Netherlands) yesterday and got an auto-reply saying
that he had been involved in some kind of accident accident and is
unable to respond :(

So YMMV but spending 15 minutes tracking down a user on
$social_network is a lot quicker than remapping half a city. Of course
there isn't much to do with explicit decliners so there is still a lot
of remapping to do, no matter what.

Toby
