Unfortunately, a mechanical edit looks exactly like what you're doing - see https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/53598691 for example. The tags on that as they stand (before or after your edit) don't make a whole lot of sense - likely there's a whole bunch of stuff there yet to be mapped, and maybe someone more familiar with the area would know if either the "memorial" or "marsh" tags make any sense.
