I have posted this question on a general blind computing list butt have had
no response. I wonder if the Talks community have a suggestion.

I have just tried to set up my BT Yahoo email account on my Nokia N86.
I am connection through my wireless network at home.

The Nokia reports that the setup was successful but when I arrived at the Bt
yahoo inbox on the phone the mailbox was empty. I had to get my daughter to
confirm this as Talks did not announce this.
This was not true as the mailbox actually has 21 items in it which I have
just downloaded to my Pc.

I also tried to send a test email from my phone to my own inbox. This was
reported as being sent by Talks but has not been received by BT Yahoo.

I have pop3 enabled on BT yahoo.

Pressing the option key under Talks only gives the option to disconnect or
create or
send mail.
I have not found a check mail button on talks yet..

The BT yahoo pages assume you will contacting via a dial up number rather
than using a wireless network so it is difficult to tell what settings are
not working. The phone appears to get into my mail account properly with the
right password but does not seem to be able to detect any of the content in
the mail boxes..

Any suggestions?

Many thanks

Regards

David Griffith
