10-13, now is the time.
This is truly going to be a regional event, as we are expecting tangueros not
only from various communities in Illinois, but also from Missouri, Iowa,
Wisconsin, and Indiana. Of course, dancers from outside the region are also
welcome in our very friendly tango community.
Even though this is a Big 10 football weekend, there are still rooms
available at the following hotels in Urbana, all within 20 minutes of the tango
events
(prices listed on Orbitz): Ramada Inn: $65 (217-328-4400), Park Inn: $72
(217-344-8000), Super 8: $80 (217-384-8000), Holiday Inn: $88 (217-328-7900).
We amy also have a few remaining spaces available for lodging in the homes of
Champaign-Urbana tangueros, so please contact us if you would like to pursue
this option.
PRIVATE LESSONS are going fast, so if you would like a private lesson with
Tom, please contact us immediately.
Unless you've had prior instruction in close embrace tango (or even if you
have and you feel a need for a review of musicality and navigational skills) we
highly recommend taking Tom's workshops from the beginning level. His unique
approach to musicality and navigation will open the eyes of even experienced
dancers.
