I never much liked the idea behind annotations personally. It always felt
like a step back to the days when everything I wrote had a preprocessor
step.
Exactly :).
It seems like they're the "in" thing though for all sorts of projects
(even my beloved hibernate has them now).
I really don't get it why even a lot of 'community leaders' in lot of OS
projects "can't get enough" annotations :).
