I can't quite see what's wrong with your app from the stack you sent.
But anyway, the HelloWorld in the site is ok to get started
http://jakarta.apache.org/tapestry/QuickStart/helloworld.html.
You can also check out in the tapestry install dir examples/tutorial2
the sources for a helloWorld app.
Hope this helps
Hmm, not too much... I already saw it. Some pieces use "net.sf" package
so I couldn't use build.xml. Also it wanted missing Tapestry/lib etc.
(It was missing in freshly downloaded tapestry 4.0 beta 1)
But - I imported Workbench to my Eclipse, downloaded missing jCharts,
added all the jars and - I can't run this example neither!
Maybe it's a matter of my jars? Here they are:
bsf-2.3.0.jar
commons-codec-1.3.jar
commons-fileupload-1.0.jar
commons-logging-1.0.4.jar
hivemind-1.1-beta-2.jar
javassist-3.0.jar
javax.servlet.jar
log4j-1.2.8.jar
ognl-2.6.7.jar
oro-2.0.8.jar
tapestry-4.0-beta-1.jar
tapestry-annotations-4.0-beta-1.jar
tapestry-contrib-4.0-beta-1.jar
it was the same when I added hivemind-lib jar
Could you Hugo please email me the really basic Tap4 app? With one
.page, .application and web.xml ? And the list of jars to add...
It takes me too much time to check it, I saw the hivemind sources but
it tells me nothing - just exactly that module is already included
in some internal hivemind table...
