Howdy Folks, I'm a long time lurker and big fan of the old time and Monroe mandolin style. I got a new Ellis A5 a few months ago and cranked out a couple of quick (a little too quick :) ) tunes for Youtube. I'm excited to be joining up to this community and get on here more.
I'll try to record my version of "Old Dangerfield" sometime soon. Tater's help from the Monroe camp two years ago really payed off on this tune; I can stumble through it well enought that I actually convinced my band to learn it! That was exciting as I usually can't find anyone to play this tune with besides mando players.
