Having proven myself to be clueless ... I might as go for "more
clueless." I puzzled over this through an after work drink, and it
seems to me the key (or one of the keys) to playing the Baggott
transcript is to work it with a heavy triplet feel. I know what I mean
even if you don't. (g) Looking at the first measure, it's as if you
play the G, then the A-G-E almost as a triplet, then the F, and then
the G-F-C almost as a triplet. I'm grabbing at straws but that's the
only way I can get and of the tune out of it. Back to the woodshed!
