I'm sure the Tater version will have insights that the Dawg version
does not have. Which version are you transcribing? The studio version
is pretty definitive. Has anyone heard the Raw Hide live from
Berryville VA, 1968? It's about the fiercest version I've ever heard.
Then there's a version when Bill was rehearsing/auditioning Bill Keith
& Del McCoury. Keith certainly pushed back on his break and Monroe
really lays into it when he comes back in, but I guess that's really
the nature of the tune.

Now it's back to trying to dig through 3 foot snowdrifts in my long
driveway. Sure wish I had bought new tires for the 4WD. I need a
tractor.
