I know for me the idea of a decent picker is constantly changing. I'll get to
where I feel like "hey, I'm doing pretty good..." and then after a month or two
of that I'll notice something that drives me nuts and brings the confidence
level down...which to me is another part of the equation, confidence. I know I
have alot better shows when the first song or two I nail and have better shows
after having a particullarly good one. I'm also of the mindset that starting
young is definitely a key to reaching full potential. With as much as I play
now (with a wife, two young kids, and a full time job with at least two hours
of commuting a day) I know I'd play alot more without my other obligations.
That being said though, I'm resolved to just keep on picking away and see where
I end up...Merry Christmas ya'll.
Trey
