So what about the structure? I've been sitting counting bars after
tabbing out Hartford's first time round and learning a sheet music
transcription of Haley I found, and things are wildly different: the A
is the same: all in 4 but the last bar in 6 second time around, but
then Hartford seems to do a B which combines Haley's B and C and puts
the bars as 4 4 4 6 in a regular fashion. Haley does 4444646 in B and
6444446 in C. I don't have it in me to count out the Tater/Newbury
version right now!
Anyone want to comment on the why and the wherefore of all this. Just
how it feels, or is there something 'standard'?
Best
Robin
