Well they certainly went a-spiralling on that un :) Fortunately for me, i have no sac-ra-lidge issues with old tunes, so I did enjoy that clip, it is always good to see talented folks giving an old tune some socks and a good running. I find it interesting to watch how folks can put a new spin on familiar things, at the very least it can make you realise just what it is that you love about your favorite versions.
I have enormous respect for folks that can play that clean and technical, but, its just not for me, i dunno, its a strain of slick that i hear on a lot of newer albums and it just does'nt roll my jelly. (Is it just me or is that slick quick stringy picking on the rise?) I guess i just like some grit in the strings is all. Can I enjoy that clip? Sure, but would i buy an album like this? Well, add me to Mr Garrity's prob'ly not list (though i'd not turn me nose up at it as a gift) On Oct 3, 5:41 am, Mark Seale <[email protected]> wrote: > from some young guns... > > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFDNcXxXJLk -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Taterbugmando" group.
