Great, thanks. On another note, the XSD does not allow annotations of
workflow input ports, even though Taverna does import this fine (and is
very useful to the user). Could the XSD be updated to allow this, and
hence for such workflows to validate?

It should, currently the logic is that if you select 'Supported
workflow types' it will try first to open as a t2flow, if that fails
it will try as a scufl. If both fail you will get the last error
message, while the first error message is thrown away unless logging
is turned on.
I guess this logic makes more sense when opening from a URL (where the
content-type probably is not right) than from a filename which
extension does tell you which type it is.
If you select t2flow in the list it would force it to load only with t2flow.
