The 'easiest' bit is probably to compile up or install a standalone
Graphviz whic does support the 'dot' output. IT's a bit strange it
does not support to output even its own format, so I suspect a bad
maintainer who compiled it with some rare options.
That's what we've done for Windows and OS X - the problem for Linux is
that each distribution has so many different libraries that the only
thing that would work 'surely' is with everything statically linked.
