I found that (after installing Java 1.6.0 u20 and Graphviz) Taverna worked as expected, except that the text "Workflow input port" and "output port" was missing from the diagram. (I suspect this is related to fonts installed) The rest of the diagram was working OK. I find that my Scientific Linux 5.2 (x86) came with dot 2.24.0 (20090616.2323) so I'm not sure how you have ended up with a much earlier version. It also came with Firefox 3.0 beta 5, so I assume this distro is living in the past. I've also not seen a Linux distribution that takes that long to boot in a long while.. ;-) I suggest running the update machinery again to make sure everything is up to date - if you have a graphviz binary from a previous distribution then it might be expecting other versions of linked libraries. Perhaps you could try Ubuntu? ;-) -- Stian Soiland-Reyes, myGrid team School of Computer Science The University of Manchester ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Palm PDK Hot Apps Program offers developers who use the Plug-In Development Kit to bring their C/C++ apps to Palm for a share of $1 Million in cash or HP Products.
