Hi developers,
I wonder if you can add a global variable
processor to Taverna in the future. I am benchmarking the usability of
Taverna, LONI, and kepler (guess those names are all familiar to you)
through setting up a nueroimaging data process.
One of the
things that I feel great to have in Taverna is the gloable varaible
processor (correct me if it's already there). An example is 30 out of
35 processors in the experiment have common input values such as the
file path. In Kepler, I only need to set a global variable e.g. $path
= /home/user/data/, and then set $path as the default input value of a
processor. If the path changes, users only need to reset the value of
$path.
