Well, I just did some tests, and it seems that when I change the
priority of a message, the Headers are not affected. For example, I
changed the priority of your message to high, then selected a
different message. I then came back to yours and I mime forwarded it
to myself. The resulting MIME message had the header:
X-Priority: 3 (Normal)
So it appears changing the priority flag stores the info somewhere
else. Maybe in the Index file?
Anyway, so now you can use the priority flag as you see fit.

I would agree with you, but based on the implementation, the problem
seems to have been avoided.
