I'm still using the same installation since I first bought the
bat over a year ago. *Every* official release has been installed over
the previous and I've tried just about all the many beta's to date,
sometimes rolling back versions, going through problems overwriting the
exe because of Winrar betas, the works. I even fell victim to that nasty
bug in the first beta which debuted the new message base format. Never
had a problem as described. <shrug> Never had to restore a message base
either though I backup my main account daily and my archive account
weekly to zip.
