Oh, how so? I use the %To macro to automatically have the List's address
entered in the To: field of a new message. There are no extra addresses
that I can see.

I too follow that procedure when I am outside of my Mailing List
Folders. When I am _in_ my various Mailing List Folders, I prefer to
skip that step, and have the macro address the message for me
automatically. I've never had any success with the %To macro in the AB
templates, if that is what you are suggesting as a remedy for TB's
inability to properly handle a MailTo: link.

I don't use any AB templates at all... find they are more trouble than
anything else, because half the macros don't work properly from them.
I've never had a problem with replies, other than the one instance with
your MailTo: but I don't consider that a configuration problem from a
Users standpoint... rather it is an example of TB's inability to
correctly process a simple MailTo: link.
C> Also for the reply templates use %TO=""%TO="<insert address
C> here>". This will prevent address duplications.
Is the duplication of %To in the above example done on purpose? I've
tried including that macro (the %To macro and not your example above) in
AB templates, but it simply doesn't work... a new message comes up
devoid of any addressing. With respect to replies, I've never included
an addressing macro in any of the templates.

I may not have the expertise in template use that you and some of the
others have, but I don't feel my configuration is suboptimal at all...
in fact it meets my needs beautifully. :o) In my view, A MailTo: link
is an entity in itself, and what folder it resides in should not have
any adverse effect on how it's addressed.
