Ah, that's the clue... Summary: I can now perform status changes from "verify wait" to "resolved" or (this is new:) from "verify wait" to "closed" for issues created by me. I can perform status changes from "verify wait" to "resolved" for issues not created by me. All other privileges referring to status changes have vanished. So now I can close bugs, but starting from "verify wait" I must skip the resolved status. That's something I can keep in mind. Thanks a lot for your efforts!
