It is incumbent on the user to find the program that suits him best. It is not incumbent on him to browbeat other programs in the hope of making them conform to his perception of what is best. If this is what one wants perhaps they should write their own email client. The secure attributes of TB v1 in 1998 is what drew me here and it is what keeps me here. I chose TB because of it's attributes, not because of its deficiencies. It is unfair to attempt to make a program compromise one of its core principals to appease a few users who disagree.
