how did your sender look like, exactly? With me, it can be any address, only it must be entered as, say, [email protected] <[email protected]> The problem is not related to Google, it only was a forged gmail address I first noticed it with. My email provider is 1&1 ... and there I can always reproduce it, now just as end of last week.
