Finally  I  can confirm. None of my POP3 accounts shows the problem, also
my Gmail IMAP account. But with 1&1 IMAP the From in the message list is
empty, although the source view shows the correct from line. So does the
1&1 Webmailer (correct from).
But i have no solution for this strange case.
