He is referring to the "Selective Download" filters, the last group of filters in the Sorting Office. |
So you're indicating that if I set that for never download more than 2 weeks, that at no time will more than 2 weeks of mail be downloaded even if the program somehow decides to download everything? |
I think it can be done, but I have not tried it. You can add a filter that looks at "Age greater than 14 days", and select one of the three possible actions.
But, as I have said, I have not tried it. |
I see. I'll try that next time as work-around. |
This just happened:
30-Jul-19, 20:49:17: FETCH - 4264 messages in the mailbox, 6 new
These were not new mails, they are from 2 weeks ago. Only these 6 were re-downloaded.
And this is my other computer, a PC which is always connected to the internet via my home wifi. The other problems reported were with my laptop, and I travel a lot, so I thought that changing ISPs might be a contributor.
Bug report #1779 is still untouched by Ritlabs.

Thomas.

Dear Thomas,
I'm having the issue on a laptop with permanent ISP, so that's not the reason (at least for me).
Best regards,
