To apply VMs independently for the main window right mouse click selected folder | Folder View mode | select desired independent VM in 2nd grouping below none. When opening a separate "View Folder FolderName of AcctName" the VM used is the last one used. I had problems understanding VMs myself because it seemed straight forward. I didn't properly understand how the concept was applied in TB.
