About an hour ago I closed down TB! and deleted all .tmp files but now they are back
again. What I've noticed is that they have a time stamp with 5 minutes difference and
have a size of just 0 bytes. I've 3 pop3 accounts and they are all checked every 5
minutes.

I've just done a quick test with no plugin active but once a message is downloaded
from a pop3 account, a .tmp file with zero length is created. I'm not sure if it is a
.tmp file for each message of just 1 for each verification of a pop3 account. It's
pretty late over here and if nobody has found the clue in the next couple of hours, I
will do some more testing tomorrow. Maybe the TB developers can tell us more about it.

If it is indeed created for each pop3 verification, while does the program not
automatically erase the files as part of the close process?
