Hello Mark, > :booooiiiiiing: > (That's the sound of someone falling from his chair, not knowing/believing > what he has been reading) :-) > > Could you elaborate a bit on that, please? >
What do you want me to elaborate on? On how the solution I've found works or on why and what for I use the ABs, etc.? I'll assume you are just interested in the solution I've found. OK, I have a set of filters that add addresses (only addresses) to AB groups. That is a simple filter action that I assume you understand how it works. What I would like to know is the date when an specific address was added, and what the solution I've found is: Change the filters action 'Add to AB group' to 'Export message to plain text file D:\Temp\add.csv' and, for this action, I select the option to append (so that each address will be added/appended at the end of the file) and using for the export a template containing only "%FROMADDR, %DATESHORT," so that only the e-mail address and the date will be written to the file. Later on, when I import the 'add.csv' file, I select to import e-mail address to E-mail filed of AB and date to Memo. Is this what you were asking me to elaborate on? A bit more clear now? -- Best regards, Miguel A.
