Yeah, rushed exit! :))

Yes. No harm done. I have closed and re-launched. Worked as usual.

Ah. I will have to look for the post that this detailed description of
what happened to you reminded me of--there was something in a somewhat
long-ago version where even though it looked as if the CC had finished
its task and disconnected from the server, it was still present as if
connected.

The person reporting found it in a way obscure to me at the
time--maybe displayed in some running-processes utility besides the
Windows Task Manager.

It's very vague in my head, but I know I did not dream that post.

This might be related?

I don't think I have as much as you--512 RAM, 2 printers connected by
cable, 6 USB ports. Camera and scanner connect via the USB port as
needed. HD--where can I find out what brand it is, this is a
custom-built machine and I've forgotten what the builders put in,
except that it's 120 GB. I don't know what my graphics card is,
either. Oh--and I'm behind a Netgear router.

On the tower is a CD drive, a DVD drive, and a floppy drive, as well
as the USB ports.

Probably it is not hardware related for you. I just wondered if the
software that runs the hardware might somehow be entangled in the
Windows process of shutting down TB! I'm way over my depth here,
fantasizing and speculating. :)

Okay. I understand.

This is probably not connection or server related at all. It's more
likely some remaining glitch in what the Connection Centre does.

A Word! lol

In a trice! The friendly cow awaits us!! :42:
