But--please correct me if my reasoning is wrong--I thought that would indicate that it won't be a problem for people getting the public download when .30 is replaced on RitLabs website, because they will not have been doing customization, as we have in the beta series. I had never deleted tbuser.def until now. MAU, for instance, didn't have the bug manifest itself. I've seen on other threads in past months (I think) that he *had* at some point deleted tbuser.def. Incidentally, what I had done in Customise--way back--was to take about half the icons off the Standard toolbar (functions I didn't need), to keep it to a single line. And now, of course, "they're back." :( > Updates and bugfixes should be "customization-proof", or the whole > idea of customization is questionable IMHO. So, maybe NetVicious will write a BT note, so we can put some supporting comments there? -- Best regards, Mary The Bat 3.5.0.31 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.5.31 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
