Hmmmm. But the original message is available if you have the "always
encrypt to default key" switch enabled (I don't know if your PGP version
has that switch, IIRC it has). It is not available for further editing, but
only for viewing. Thats the problem.

I'd say that, if one can decrypt a message in the outbox again for viewing
(because of that switch), one should be able to open it for editing again
as well.

As it is now, the warning message you suppose should be shown when you
decide to put the message in the outbox from the editor window. Something
like "Warning - you can not edit the message any longer once it is
encrypted and saved in the outbox". However, this is not a very convenient
experience for the user, with or without the warning...
